
TINY HOME FOR SALE Cobworks and team have built a tiny home in Victoria, BC. This sustainable home was constructed almost entirely out of recycled materials. To reduce costs, the home is not built on a trailer but can be fitted on one for easy moving. The 160 square foot home is 8'x20' and is completed to lock up, with door, windows, siding, skylights and insulation installed. The cedar siding came from the old fire hall on Mayne Island while the windows are new. The standing seam metal roofing/cladding was removed from a house that was being demolished. In spring of 2016, the home was moved to a temporary location at the intersection of Keating Crossroads and West Saanich Road, across from Butterfly World. We hired a crane and low-bed trailer to move it. This is an excellent stage to think about purchasing, as you would have a choice in all the custom finishing touches such as wiring, kitchen, bathroom, interior layout, appliances and interior finishings. NOTE: The price to lockup (door, windows, roofing, skylights and siding) has been reduced to $7,000. This does not include trailer or moving.
